BLK was introduced in August 2017 and is currently the #1 dating app made for Black singles. With a goal of helping users find love at its core, BLK has built a community and space where Black love in all its forms and expressions can happen every day.

MANIFESTO

BLK understands that choosing Black love for some is a conscious, intentional choice rooted in a desire to see their communities flourish. It's also a point of pride.

In the same breath, choosing Black love can simply be a dating or romance preference. BLK users just so happen to take it seriously, and are not afraid to voice it.

These two truths both exist, and neither is more valuable than the other.
